This page is dedicated to the education and entertainment of the future of the clan. Contained are various links of interest and entertainment for the lasses and lads and not so little lasses and lads. The clan youth are defined as anyone mid-twenties on down. So needless to say this page has a variety of information to accommodate various interests.
Ann Henderson Hicks is the clan's coordinator for Youth Activities. You can contact her by email (hicksalj@aol.com) about getting involved in the clan activities as well as information about Scottish culture, like piping, highland dancing, etc.
Youth Scholarship
Clan Henderson annually awards youth scholarships for individual youths (under the age of 26) for recognition of specific talents in the fields of music, dance, academics, etc. This award is a certificate of recognition signed by the Society President and accompanied by a check for a specified amount that is determined by the Executive Board. (The current award is in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars.) The awards are determined by committee to the most deserving applicants. To apply for this scholarship send a letter of applicantion to your Regional Commissioner who will redirect it on. Good luck!
