Joseph A. married Abigail Owens Oct. 1809 in Wilkinson Co. MS. I found his name in the Carter Papers on a petition to the US for relief of debt on his property dated 1812. I have no idea where he came from or who his parents were. Some speculation that he was born in SC, but cannot be proved. Need help finding his origin and parents. He owned property in Woodville, Wilkinson, MS. I don't know how much, but many of his descendants are still in the Woodville are. Thanks for any help.
